Li Yapeng Apologizes for Unpaid Wages

On May 13, Li Yapeng (李亞鵬) was accused by an employee of delaying wages and not paying social insurance. Today, Li Yapeng released a video responding to the matter, apologizing to the employee and stating that, as of today, he still owes the employee about 60,000 yuan in compensation. He promised to resolve the issue by the end of the day. He also apologized to over a hundred colleagues who left the company in the past one or two years: “The good news is that after more than a year of effort, we have basically paid over 90% of the compensation, and victory is in sight. I will continue to work hard.”

On May 14, the employee who was owed wages responded with a video: “I’m very sad about how things have developed. It’s undignified, but who doesn’t want to save face? I’ve been ignored in private for over two years, and now there’s a public apology because of a trending topic. This action deserves a score of 100.”
