Eason Chan Injures His Back During Concert

Recently, during his concert in Wuhan, singer Eason Chan (陳奕迅) injured his back while dancing energetically, forcing him to modify his performance the following day from dancing to standing and singing. He expressed, “It really hurt so much that I cried, I’ve never experienced anything like this before.”

According to videos posted by fans at the concert, Eason was seen clutching his back in pain while singing “Life and Marathon,” <人生馬拉松> as his discomfort was visibly apparent on the large screen. Later, during a chat segment, Eason told the audience that he had pulled his back during the dance routine the day before, humorously adding that the injury was accidental and not related to his age. He shared, “It really hurt so much that I cried. It’s a different kind of pain, not one of sadness.”

Subsequently, Eason changed his dance performance to a standing singing performance and thanked the audience at the end of the show, saying, “Thank you for your understanding today, for being considerate of my back, I really appreciate it.”

On May 6, Eason Chan posted on Weibo, “I will rest well, looking forward to next time~,” prompting fans to leave comments like, “Spend less time online and take care of your back,” “Waiting to see you jumping and bouncing again next time,” and “It takes a hundred days to recover from muscle and bone injuries, take care of your body.”
