On May 3rd, Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) was reported to have sent lawyers and prosecutors to confront Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛) at her home. The local police were alerted by the community management committee of Barbie’s residence, reporting that someone representing Wang Xiaofei was attempting to serve documents related to post-divorce civil litigation to Barbie. However, the party involved was unwilling to have any contact outside of court. Additionally, the appointed lawyer continued to wait downstairs, prompting the security team of the management committee to call the police. Upon arrival, the police confirmed that Wang Xiaofei’s lawyer was there to deliver documents and, determining that no illegal activities had occurred, informed both parties of their rights before the lawyer voluntarily left.
A friend of Wang Xiaofei revealed that at the time, Wang Xiaofei and Mandy were waiting at a nearby hot pot restaurant for the outcome. Wang Xiaofei hoped to visit his family but was ultimately unable to make contact with Barbie.
