Recently, actress Han So-hee personally addressed doubts about her admission to a French school, responding privately to a netizen’s query. She claimed that parts of her variety show appearance were edited and misrepresented, explaining that she indeed needed 20 to 30 million won for the visa process, but did not have sufficient funds for living expenses and rent after moving.
Following this, Han So-hee’s agency officially stated: “As Han So-hee revealed on the variety show, she was indeed admitted to a French school.”
The agency told the Korean media: “Specific details are personal privacy and thus cannot be disclosed, but everything Han So-hee stated on the program is true; she was indeed admitted to a French school.” They firmly denied any allegations of lying.
Recently, a conversation between Han So-hee and a netizen questioning her French school admission was made public. In January of this year, Han So-hee shared a story on an online variety show about being admitted to a French school but being unable to attend, which led to suspicions of lying.
However, some netizens argued that the bank account balance required for a French study visa contradicts Han So-hee’s statements, and pressured her to provide proof of eligibility or French language proficiency.
