According to Korean media, South Korean rapper Sik-K surrendered to the police in January this year after using drugs. Reportedly, he was speaking incoherently at the time, asking, “Is this the police station?” Afterwards, the police took him to a nearby station for protective measures.
However, his management company responded, stating: “On the morning of January 19th, police working near the Seoul Regional Reporting Hall found Sik-K showing symptoms of delirium due to a sleep disorder. It was assumed he had used drugs, and he expressed an intention to surrender. After being taken to a police station, he was investigated at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul and sent home after being admonished.”
The agency also stated: “The urine sample collected from Sik-K at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul did not detect any drugs, such as methamphetamine, which the media has mentioned. During his time at the police station on January 19, 2024, Sik-K consistently denied using drugs.” He claims that his behavior at the police station was due to delirium symptoms following surgery, not drug use.
